I am an Assistant Professor of Economics in the economics department at California State University San Marcos.

My research interests lie at the intersection of the political economy of the criminal justice system, development economics, and market process economics. My current research explores the function of media produced by prisoners in the US criminal justice system with implications for criminal justice reform. In a separate project, I examine Frank H. Knight’s work through a history of thought lens.

My CV can be found here.
